Buddy, you might be an expert player, but you definitely need to be more careful about the money you ‘throw away’ on online scam sites that are not serious nor legal casino spots.

So, what’s this screenshot I posted up here? It’s the main page of TextLinkPro.com, a link and paid post network where both Advertisers and Publishers can signup and put text links for sale and/or buy them.

This network is rather new, and not well known yet, but it seems promising. What makes it different from other websites of the kind is a set unique features, which include:

1- the possibility for Publishers of getting paid for both blogroll links and sponsored entries on ONE platform;

2- the availability for Advertisers to choose from a wide range of advertising options.

Usually other websites focus on one type of product only; only links, only blog posts. TextLinkPro.com doesn’t make restrictions, and allows its users to manage their own transactions. The graphic interface is very easy to use too, and getting lost is really not an option here.

I give this website a 4/5 rating. Sparing the “5″ for when the network will grow bigger and bigger. :)

Thing is, I’ve been trying out some new software today, an MP3 player called ALSong, developed by ESTsoft Corp. So far, I’m very satisfied with it. :) The graphics is pleasant, there numerous options and functionalities, and customizable skins. The interface is clean, with smooth roundish borders, and a sleek design. I like it a lot.

There is quite a vast choice of tools on the alltools.com website, to say the truth. From file compression with ALZip, to this ALSong MP3 player, the ALFTP to connect to FTP server for upload/download of files, and much more. All of these softwares can be tried out for free for a period of 60 days, after which we can choose to purchase them or just uninstall them.

I must admit that these programs are cute, both in graphics and functionality. :) The website provides a lot of video tutorials and screenshot to see how they appear before downloading, but they are not that hard to use. For instance, I found the ALSong program pretty easy to use. The interface is accessible and intuitive, even tough there are so many options that you may feel lost at first. But that is just the first impression: after a minute of clicking around and playing with the program, you find out how to use it and start enjoy it. :)

Right now, I’m listening to a radio station. Yep! It does have that functionality too. I will try ALFTP too later on; I guess it’s going to be better than my old crappy FTP uploader, LOL.

So, here’s my two cents for the day: integrating ‘nofollow’ links for your site SEO.

As you most of you know, ‘nofollow’ tags in outgoing links have been introduced by search engines (especially Google) to limit comment spam and bad neighborhood damaging effects on a website/blog rankings and indexed results. Well, actually ‘nofollow’ tags are a tool, a precious resource that shouldn’t just be used as a barrier against bad links or to stop ‘Pagerank leak’, but efficiently implemented to push the link juice to certain relevant pages of our website, through internal linking and link structuring. This can be especially important if you run a small business seo – improved for SEO – and you want to push page relevance to specific pages of your site. For example, if your website has 10 pages, of which 4 are the most relevant to search engines eyes and to your business, you can get the remaining 6 pages to link intelligently (with relevant keyworkds and key-phrases) to these relevant pages, while reducing drastically the amount of outgoing links from these relevant pages to elsewhere. Hence the great benefit of rel=nofollow tags: they help you maintain this ‘push’ without renouncing to links on these ‘top pages’.

More techniques can be integrated with this one. I will mention these techniques in my next entries.
